The DHH subcommittee of ESE Advisory represents for the interests of students in Broward County Public Schools who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing. It provides support to families and makes recommendations to the Superintendent and School Board for service improvements, whether the students are in DHH program schools (Peters Elementary, Tropical Elementary, Seminole Middle and South Plantation High) or at other schools districtwide. All are welcome at the committee's meetings, which are held on Teams with American Sign Language interpreters present on screen.
