ACE - AUTISM COMMITTEE
Subcommittee of the ESE Advisory Council
The ACE Committee is a group of parent volunteers who strive to build a better life for our students with autism. We promote acceptance and equality while working to ensure that our children benefit from the best educational practices and advocate for a stronger system of support for our Broward County students, teachers and staff.
Gary Grigull, the district's Autism Curriculum Supervisor attends our general meetings each month. He reports on district news and policy and brings the issues discussed at our meetings to district representatives, principals, and coaches. We work together to offer support, answer questions and provide guidance to the community. ACE is a subcommittee of the Broward ESE Advisory Council. Our board members attend meetings with district staff and the Broward County School Board bringing forward these very important issues affecting our students with ASD.
